Ramon used to be the photographer for the yearbook. He stopped taking pictures for the yearbook after his girlfriend's death a year before the events of the book. That's why when he starts developing feelings for the new kid and artist Machenzie, he is initially extremely wary of pursuing the relationship. Even when they start dating, he refuses to take pictures of her or anyone else. He hasn't taken pictures of people since his girlfriend's death. He also hates dandelions for a reason his friends cannot determine. He serves as the protector of the group, keeping his friends out of trouble the best way he knows how, and being someone to talk to when there are problems.
